The map to the Samphanthawong Museum at the Odeon Gate

The map to the Samphanthawong Museum gives the location of the museum on Traimit Road. Go through the entrance to Wat Traimit on Traimit Road that is just opposite the junction with Soi Sukorn 2.

Unfortunately, there are no signboards outside to indicate the location of the museum. After you enter the main gate to Wat Traimit, the museum is a small building on the right.

The museum is open from Wednesdays – Sundays from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. Admission is free.

Please see map to the museum below.

The nearest Bangkok subway station is at Hua Lam Pong.

Please note that the Samphanthawong Museum has been demolished!

The entire site of the former museum has been completely leveled. We've checking with the Bangkok Tourism Division for more information on the new location of the museum. To date there's no indication as to where the new location will be.
