The Bangkok street map to the Thai Labour Museum shows the location of this museum dedicated to Thai labour in a little red house near the Makkasan railway station near the busy Pratunam junction.

From the Pratunam junction proceed northwards along Ratchaprarob Road till you reach the Makkasan junction where there’s a level crossing.

Map 1 – from Pratunam to Makkasan

Turn right at the Makkasan junction and travel along Nikhom Makkasan Road parallel to the railway line.

Continue along Nikhom Makkasan Road till you pass the Eastin Bangkok Hotel and Bangkok Palace Hotel on the right.

The museum is in the vicinity of the Makkasan Railway Station in a single-story red building.

Bus services are infrequent along Nikhom Makkasan Road so it’s faster to walk in, if you’re not driving. The distance from the Makkasan junction to the museum is about 750m.

The museum is opened everyday from 10:00 am – 04:30 pm except on Mondays and Tuesdays. Admission is free. Donations to support the maintenance of the museum are welcomed.
