You can get to Wat Mahabut by two means: By canal boat from Phra Khanong Bridge pier to the Wat Mahabut pier (fare 10 baht) or By road along Soi Sukhumvit 77 to Soi On Nut 7 (Soi Wat Mahabut). The temple is at the end of Soi On Nut 7. To get to the Phra Khanong area: Take the Bangkok skytrain to the On Nut station which is nearer to Soi Sukhumvit 77. Map to Wat Mahabut Two air-conditioned bus services from the city pass this stretch of Sukhumvit Road. Bus no. 507 and Bus no. 511 If you're taking the canal boat, stop just before the Phra Khanong Bridge. If not get off after you've past Soi Sukhumvit 77. Once you get to the Wat Mahabut pier, follow the signboards to the Mae Nak Shrine. The directions are in Thai. So look out for white boards with red arrows, sponsored by Pepsi Cola and Miranda.
