Walking Street map
the dragon's belly in Chinatown Bangkok

The Walking Street map of Chinatown Bangkok covers the area from the start point near the Si Phraya Pier, the historical buildings in the area, the Sampheng market in Soi Wanit 1 and Saphan Han.

If Yaowarat Road looks like a dragon weaving through the heart of Chinatown Bangkok, Walking Street is the dragon's belly.

As the area is quite large, I've divided the map into three sections. The first section covers the start point, Holy Rosary Church, the Talad Noi branch of the Siam Commercial Bank and Wat Pathum Khong Kha.

Please see the first section of the map below

Walking Street map Chinatown Bangkok – the start point
How to get there

The best way to get there is to take the skytrain to the Taksin Bridge station. The Sathorn Pier is just below the bridge. From there take a Chao Phraya River boat to the Si Phraya Pier.

Section 2 – Sampheng market

From Wat Pathum Khong Kha turn into Trok Khao San and proceed straight on along Soi Wanit 1 to the Sampheng market.

Section 3 – Saphan Han

Soi Wanit 1 and the Sampheng market will continue on to Chakkrawat Road. Cross Chakkrawat Road and you'll enter Saphan Han.
