(Salaya, Nakhon Pathom)
Salaya is a tambon (sub-district) in Amphur (district) Phutthamonthon, Nakhon Pathom on the north-west city limits of Bangkok. It's considered a suburb of Bangkok and is home to a religious park with a 15.8 m standing Buddha.
There are several universities in Salaya; Mahidol University, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin and the Mahamakut Buddhist University. It's also the location of the College of Dramatics Arts and two secondary schools.
These photos were taken of the chedi in the temple in Mahamakut Buddhist University on different days and at different times after sundown. The bright crimson streaks in the sky are a joy to behold.
